What are the Characteristics of the Holy Quran? The Holy Prophet received the revelation of the Holy Quran 23 years after declaring His prophethood at the age of 40. The Bible, Torat, and Zabur are the other two books, and this one is the most revered of them all. Additional smaller Sahifas, in addition to these four Holy Books, were also revealed to other prophets.
